Day 55

'Got any Bangers?', Pencil on Paper

Today's draw is by special request from a friend of mine, which came about after a previous drawing I did where the incredibly creepy looking sunglasses are also a feature. The glasses themselves having been discovered in a local pound shop and initially bought to be part of a costume for a band that me and my friend formed for our houses Christmas party that we named the 'Santa Flaws'. Now when I say band I do use that term in the loosest sense of the word, although to be fair two of our members were actually quite musically talented. I learned keyboards in the space of a week, we practised for all of about 30 mins and the drummer didn't know he was drumming until he turned up at the party... so as you can imagine the performance was 'off the hook' as the cool kids say. Strangely enough though even with our lack of practice and my absence of any real musical talent it did go genuinely well, the complete ridiculousness of the situation only doing as much as to make the whole thing hilarious. It was something that was definitely enjoyable so who knows maybe the Santa Flaws my make a triumphant return under a new guise and with a brand new sound.
